How much holiday do I have to pay my staff?

With only a few special exceptions, everyone is entitled to holiday pay from the moment they start working for you.

The minimum is 5.6 weeks per annum. That’s 5.6 lots of their normal working week so if they do 3 days a week it’s 16.8 days pa (5.6 x 3 days). If they do 12 hours then it’s 67.2 hours (5.6 x 12 hours).

For a “normal” 5 day a week person it’s 28 days pa.
